Global Flight Adventures was extremely excited to host The Brown University Flying Club, which had an awesome time piloting our simulators! AMAZING JOB, CAPTAIN LOU!The town of Ísafjörður in the Westfjord region of Northwest Iceland has some of the most breathtaking scenery most of us could imagine. For pilots however, sightseeing is not an option. Banking left during a short final approach to runway 08 at Ísafjörður Airport (BIIS) is a challenge for the most seasoned pilots. With a scant runway length of 4,593 feet, landing a Boeing 737 at this beautiful airport is not practicable in the real world. Best left for the simulator? Lou proved it could be done.

Global Flight Adventures would like to thank The Westin Copley Place, Boston for choosing us to host an amazing Corporate Event! What a wonderful group of over 20 managers, directors and staff, who all got to be captains for the day in our Single Engine and 737 Airliner simulators. Everyone who attended got to choose any place in the World to take off from and land at. We had the chance to fly to such beautiful places in all sorts of weather conditions, day and night. It was truly a unique team building event. Everyone did remarkably well and we hope to have all of you back again soon! -The GFA Team

As a Certified Flight Instructor for over 10 years, our team and I are passionate about teaching students all about aviation and how to be skilled pilots in both of our state of the art simulators. During the open house we will get a chance for the group to meet each other and go over the various topics we will be covering in our classes. We will have coffee, refreshments and plenty of time for Q & A, conversation and a full tour of the facility, including the simulators! We look forward to meeting those who are new to the program and seeing many familiar faces.

Filming a scene for a movie at gfa
THAT’S A WRAP! At Global Flight Adventures our 737NG simulator was the set and our CFII Josh Haddad the Captain for a scene in an upcoming movie! I guess when you need to film inside the cockpit of an airliner and can’t get through TSA with an entire film crew and camera gear, Global Flight Adventures has you covered. The movie makers were amazed by our facility, the realism of our simulators and the exacting aviation professionalism of our team. Thanks and best of luck to Writer/Director Rob Levinson, Cinematographer Ben Grant, Make-Up Artist Lori Grenier, Actor Greg Genatossio and all of the “Out of Time Pictures” crew for a spectacular day! Your talented and exceptionally professional crew made the day smooth, comfortable and most of all, very exciting! We were thrilled to be part of a film production and wish it all the success in the World. It should be making its rounds soon at film festivals and beyond. NBC Boston paid Global Flight Adventures a special visit
NBC Boston paid Global Flight Adventures a special visit this Thursday. What an interesting and unique experience for the Flight Center team. Although, the reasons behind the visit are certainly troublesome for the aviation community.
Our Lead Instructor Josh Haddad was able to give the reporter a deeper look into automated systems in our model 737 simulator, and how pilots handle certain situations where taking as much automation out of the systems is called for.
