AVIATION AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS and SUMMER CAMPS for young pilots
"Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return"
SUMMER CAMP JULY SESSION 2023
ONly 3 places left!
Our 2 weeks summer camp program, middle- and high school-aged. The camp designed to introduce young people to the aviation world. They can actually start learning about flying long before they begin their flight training. Unforgettable aviation memories! Camp participants explore aviation through learning classroom as well as hands-on experiences from knowledgeable instructors. They’ll gain life skills to apply to in everyday life and discover the unlimited opportunities a career in aviation presents.
This program will start running Monday through Friday from July 10th, 2023 and until July 21st, 2023.
Group space is limit!
Program Description
Flying is nothing but passion which gives you all the strength and focus to fly. It’s a dream camp for a young pilot! This two weeks-long camp combines aviation theory and flight simulator time. Students will learn about the basic principles of flight: how aircraft fly, aircraft controls and flight instruments, flight planning and navigating, weather, and more. The highlight of the camp is our state-of-the-art Boeing 737NG simulator that the students will fly, takeoff and land (safely). Our Boeing 737NG simulator carefully models one of the most popular aircraft ever made in painstaking detail. We will also use our Single-Engine simulator to practice and understand the basics of flight. Campers will be learning and having fun all at once!
By the end of the program, students will complete a simulated solo flight to include takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, approach, and landing-just like real pilots do!
Program Goals
Our program offers the ability to live in the exciting world of aviation. Students will understand the basics and history of flight, and will develop crucial skills of cooperation. Campers will learn how to act under pressure and to take responsibility for their in-flight actions; they will even practice math and physics while enhancing their own leadership skills. The highlight of this program will be a complete simulated solo flight - takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, approach and landing (just like a real pilots practice in the real world). Afterwards, students will get our GFA wings! Students will get to really feel what it’s like to be a pilot. Who knows - they might fall in love with aviation just like we did!
